Join Art E Fekts Gallery on Wednesday, June 17th from 5:30PM–8PM for a magical Midsommar Junk Journal Workshop inspired by ancient summer solstice traditions and seasonal creativity.
For centuries, the summer solstice has symbolized abundance, light, renewal, and transformation…a celebration of the sun at its peak and the turning point of the season. Rituals centered around fire, flowers, herbs, gathering, and creative expression were believed to invite protection, good fortune, vitality, and growth for the months ahead.
Workshop leaders Hannah and Joanna will guide guests through an evening of intuitive creativity as participants craft a unique midsummer-inspired journal spread in their own journal, notebook, or paper of choice. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the season through layering, storytelling, symbolism, and collected treasures.
Please bring your own journal, notebook, or paper surface to work on. All ephemera and glue materials will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring…
